I'm Robin (they/them), a UK based artist and UAL Animation Graduate. I go wherever my whims take me, currently focusing on original character creation, online roleplay, and teaching myself code. Usage Permissions

✔ Allowed:

  • You can use my non-commission work in icons, moodboards, webweaves, video edits, etc, with appropriate credit.

  • If you make any of the above content with my art I would love to be tagged on one of my social media accounts so I can see it, but this is not a requirement.

  • You can use my artwork as kin/introject references, with credit.

  • If you wish to copy my artwork for practice, print my artwork to decorate your room, or anything else that would remain entirely private and offline, I cannot stop you. But please do not inform me about it, for my own comfort. Thank you!

✘ Not allowed:

  • Do not trace or heavily reference my artwork.

  • Do not color my unfinished artwork without permission.

  • Do not repost my artwork on any sites I am already active on. Ask my permission before reposting my work on sites I have not posted it on. I reserve the right to say no.

  • Please do not claim any of my original designs as your own.

  • Do not print my work for profit, unless it is a commission you have commercial rights to (see commission TOS for more info.)

  • Do not use any of my work as material for generative AI or NFTs.

Terms of Service

By commissioning me you agree to the following terms. If anything on this page is unclear to you, do not hesitate to contact me for clarification!

General:

  1. Client must be over 18, or have permission of a guardian to make their own financial decisions.

  2. All communication should be via email, unless given permission to communicate via other social media.

  3. Client agrees to provide a payment email for invoice and a name or social media handle for crediting.

  4. Commissions are on a slot based, non first-come-first-serve basis. Depending on demand, a waitlist may be implemented in future.

Content Guidelines:

  1. I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.

  2. NSFW, suggestive and fetish related commissions are not universally banned, but I will be much pickier with them, depending on my comfort with the subject matter. Attempting to commission suggestive art of underage characters or animals will result in a block/blacklist.

  3. Attempting to covertly commission fetish content without explicitely stating that it is fetish content may be denied. This is down to my own discretion on what I reasonably believe is fetish content.

  4. I am happy to draw fanart, original characters, game avatars, and real people, but may deny a commission if I am not confident that the client has rights/permission to use the design.

Payment:

  1. Prices are listed in GBP (£). Please make sure you are confident in what this translates to in your local currency before proceeding. I am not liable for any misunderstandings caused by currency conversion.

  2. Payment should be 100% upfront via Paypal invoice, unless a payment plan is discussed. I will send you the invoice.

  3. Payment plans are available for commissions that total over £100. Client will not recieve the final piece until 100% payment is complete.

  4. I will not start work until either full payment or the first part of a payment plan are recieved.

  5. If invoice is unpaid after a week, I will cancel the commission and free up the slot for other clients.

  6. Prices are a guideline, and may vary depending on complexity.

  7. Additional characters in the same image are usually around 3/4 of the base price.

Process:

  1. Client should provide all neccescary references and requirements upfront.

  2. Characters without full visual reference will be charged a design fee. (See add-ons section on the next page.)

  3. Turnaround time is a minimum of one week, maximum of six months, unless explicit delays occur.

  4. Delays will be communicated to client. Client can request updates at any time, and are entitled to full or partial refunds if signifigant time has passed since deadline or last update. (See refunds and cancellation section.)

  5. It is the client's responsibility to save the finished work. I usually keep hold of files and can be contacted if they are lost, but this is not a guarentee.

Revisions:

  1. Client will recieve a single sketch for approval, unless project is "skeb style." I will not continue work until this sketch is approved. Client can request to see further WIPs at any point.

  2. Client can freely request changes during the sketch approval phase. If client approves this sketch and later requests changes, additional fees may be applied.

  3. Minor revisions can be requested to the final piece, depending on my disrection.

  4. Revision fees will never exceed 50% of the base commission cost, but will vary based on complexity.

Refunds and cancellation

  1. If the client cancels before work has begun, they are eligible for a full refund.

  2. If the client cancels after the sketch approval phase, they are eligible for a maximum of a 50% refund. This amount is negotiable, especially if the client is cancelling due to a lack of communication or delays that exceed 3 months.

  3. If I, the artist, cancel the commission for any reason, client will recieve a full refund.

  4. Refunds are not possible after final delivery.

Usage & Rights:

  1. Clients are allowed to repost commissioned work, but the work should always be credited to Roenais (or Pasta on Toyhouse.)

  2. Clients are allowed to make minor edits to finished work, so long as credit is maintained. Tracing or offensive edits may result in a block/blacklist.

  3. Commissions are for personal use only, unless commercial rights are purchased. (See add-ons section on the next page.)

  4. Clients do not have the right to mint commissions as NFTs or use commissions for generative AI/machine learning purposes.

  5. I retain ownership of my own art and the right to post it on my own accounts and portfolio, with clear indication that it is paid work purchased by the client, unless explicitely asked otherwise. (See add-ons section on the next page.)

  6. I may recycle elements of rejected and cancelled sketches at my own discression.

Portraits/Icons

[£15]

High res PNG, Square format, plus optional downsized version upon request. Ideally single character, but I may be willing to squeeze in more upon request.Background will, by default, be simple shapes & colors reflective of character design, unless something specific is asked for.I'm also happy to do sets/pairs of matching icons, but no more than 10 at a time.

Halfbodies

[£30+]

High res PNG, transparent versions upon request. Let me know if you have specific dimension requirements.Character focused art, cropped between bust and halfbody depending on client specifications.Price is variable based on level of detail, but a single character commission is unlikely to exceed £50.Comes with simple pattern/color by default, more detailed backgrounds will be priced based on complexity.

Fullbodies

[£50+]

High res PNG, transparent versions upon request. Let me know if you have specific dimension requirements.Character focused art, featuring all of most of the character in frame.Price is variable based on level of detail, but a single character commission is unlikely to exceed £70.Comes with simple pattern/color by default, more detailed backgrounds will be priced based on complexity.

Scenes

[£50+]

High res PNG, A4 Horizontal or vertical by default. Let me know if you have specific dimension requirements.More complex pieces with characters that are integrated with the setting, with closer attention paid to lighting and color grading.Character count is irrelevant here, the piece will be priced according to overall complexity. If you just want a piece of a character (or several) in front of a complex backdrop, I'd reccomend the previous options.

Chibis

[£15]

High res PNG, transparent or simple background by default. Let me know if you have specific dimension requirements.Small, simplistic renders, usually in a floating position, intended as pagedolls but can be used for any purpose.Complex designs may be simplified, let me know if there are any details that are 100% required.

Experimental

Vivid Style

[£25+]

High res PNG, transparent versions upon request. Let me know if you have specific dimension requirements.This option is analogous to the Fullbody option, but in a bold, toon-like style. I can do halfbodies and portraits in this style, but I'll assume you want a fullbody if not specified.This style is considered experimental as it's slightly variable in line weight, texturing, etc. If you want me to mimic one of the specific examples in style, let me know.

Sweet Style

[£25+]

High res PNG, transparent versions upon request. Let me know if you have specific dimension requirements.This option is analogous to the portrait or halfbody option, but in a slightly anime-esque, lined style. I will not do fullbodies in this style currently.This style is considered experimental as it's slightly variable in line weight, texturing, etc. If you want me to mimic one of the specific examples in style, let me know.

Lil Guys

[£5+]

Medium res PNG, transparent background by default. Ideally no more than 2-3 characters per image.Extremely basic scribbles, intentionally goofy/badly drawn. Can be based on a specific meme or emoji if you want. Will simplify complex designs.As these are extremely simple doodles, you won't get a WIP or sketch, but I'll still make edits if needed.

[£120+]

PSD file, at least 4000px tall, cut and ready to rig. Comes with commercial rights by default.Base £120 for halfbody, £200 for fullbody, subject to complexity of design.You can always come back later for additions. I'm also willing to make free (minor) revisions to how the model is cut and layered depending on your rigging needs.If you want an option not listed here, let me know!

Video Editing

Complex Edit (£50 per minute)

MP4 file, 30FPS 1080p, other formats available on request.Multi-scene editing, with typography and camera effects, intended for music videos or similar content.Client must provide all art or pay illustration fees for custom assets, I will not do commission work with art that the client does not own!Illustration, animation and editing can be bundled for a reduced combined fee, simply ask me for more details.

Other Editing (£15+ per minute)

MP4 file, 30FPS 1080p, other formats available on request.I am available to edit Lyric videos, Lets Plays, Twitch VODs, Webcomic trailers, and more. Currently I do not have many direct examples of these styles, so prices will be negotiable!

Add-Ons

Animation (+50%*)

Can be added to any illustration type. You will recieve both the static and animated version of your order.30FPS, seamless loop, GIF and MP4 format by default. Alternative export formats can be offered upon request.Can also be added to Video Editing commissions, for a reduced bundle fee. Ask for more details.*Price may increase for particularly complex designs and animation requirements, such as needing to animate multiple wings and tails, complex pose changes, moving textures, etc.

Commercial Rights (+20-100%)

  • +20%: Rights for monetized digital usage, ie. Youtube thumbnails, Twitch overlays, Promotional material, etc. Also applies to editing.

  • +100%: Rights for use as a product, such as merchandise, apparel designs, book covers, etc. A royalty system can also be discussed.

Design Fee (+10-50%)

Additional fee for characters that require me to do signifigant design work, such as ones that only exist as written descriptions, picrews, moodboards, and (simple) game avatars. Price is variable depending on how much existing material there is to work from.

Rush Fee (+20%)

A fee for priority commissions with a faster turnaround, such as projects with a hard deadline much sooner than my usual work speed.Subject to availability, depending on my current workload I may have to deny rush projects. Thank you for understanding!

Privacy fee (+10%)

This fee is for privacy after completion, ie. I will not post it to my own social media or use it in my public portfolio, either until a specified deadline or indefinitely, depending on your needs. I very rarely stream or post unfinished work, so privacy for WIPs can be requested for free.
